Hey there everyone,
The turnout today was kind of light at the Galleria. Welcome back, Bob S who played against Henry.
Tim E battled against Noah.

David has played with the Southern Knights for well over 10 years.

The Southern Knights meet for play again at the Galleria in Mt Lebanon at 10 AM on Sunday.

Mark's chess group meets on Saturdays at 7 PM at the Starbuck's in Bridgeville by the Cloverleaf.

The Westmoreland Chess Club had three new players today and will meet again next week on Thursday the 25th.
The new players were LeDavien, Tristan, and Will.
Rated games can be played under the supervision of Don. Terry will not be there next week but plans to be there the following Thursday.

The Southern Knights meet for chess tomorrow at the Galleria at 10 AM.

Thank you to the Bridgeville Library who provided a private room to play chess since 2010. Originally, they allowed us to play from 11 AM to 2 PM. But today, the 4 of us were still there at 3 15 PM. They were Gary, Mark, Ken, and me.

Mark reported that he will be the captain of his chess team in the Pittsburgh Chess League.

We had a young woman with a yoga mat inquiring about our chess group. Anthony and Mike told her about our club.

Another young woman read a book while her two youngsters played Ron and Wade. The boy's name was Oliver.

The next time the Southern Knights meet for skittles is Wednesday at 11AM at the Bridgeville Library. It is at 505 McMillan Street.

At the Galleria chess today, Elizabeth played against Henry, then Henry played against Mike, Noah played against Nick, Mark played against Ron in Panera, Wade played a new fellow, and I played against Moe.

Harry came for the first time and watched. Nice that Opera Dave invited him to play.

Noah played Jim in a rated game today at the Library.

Moe played a rated game today at the Settler's Ridge Panera against Steven.

WCC also had a super turnout in Greensburg on Thursday at the B & N.

Ravi, Sam and Mark were some of the players at the Saturday evening chess at the Bridgeville Starbucks.

Welcome back, Will. He is the son of John and has competed for our Southern Knights Chess Club in the Pittsburgh Chess League.

At the Galleria today, Jim and Terry were competing in a match between the Southern Knights and Westmoreland Chess Club. Jim reported that Terry won an exciting game with no blunders that they knew of.
