The minute one loses faith, one will look back and grasp for evidence that it’s not happening.

I’m beginning to think it’s a gift from God!😉

I will continue to hold the flashlight for you, until you can hold it on your own.

Know this life is never going to move unless you do!

There is so much power in moving!

It moves us forward, it allows us to live to our fullest potential, it also allows things to move through us that we have picked up from old beliefs.

When I need encouragement, I look inward and know I’m stronger just for showing up, it’s movement forward.

Never underestimate moving!

You know what I love about being in the season of my children now being adults….

The honesty.

I was talking to my daughter yesterday, and she said something, and I instantly brought up a very old outworn story.

She laughed, and said ha, I’ve never heard that before.

We laughed and I didn’t think anything of it at the time.

However, before I fall asleep I go through my day and do an edit and audit exercise.

When I went over that story, I realized obviously it still triggered me, because here we are bringing it up, and according to my daughter several times.

I know now exactly why it triggered me.

I’m not going to share the story, but the point of it is evidence of growth.

I wasn’t offended, I didn’t ignore it, I questioned it later, received the information and am humbled by her calling me out.

And glad she did, so I can keep the lesson and put the story to rest.

Even after our children leave the nest, when one stays open they are still one of our greatest teachers in life.

I’m with the deepest gratitude for God allowing me the opportunity to raise them.

Dreams? What’s yours?

Are you living it?

I’ve been reading a lot on how our brains see our outside world.

How it will choose from old circumstances to create safety.

Especially, when one is not paying attention.

In fact 3 people can have the same experience, and all 3 will have a different outcome/perspective on said experience.

This is why one needs to be focused and CLEAR on the path of where one is headed.

Write it out, visualize it, what does it feel like, what are you wearing, who are you with?

The more details the better! GO BIG!

One step stronger, get around others achieving their dreams!

In my experience, my dreams have shifted, God has course corrected them.

But what hasn’t changed, is my faith in knowing it’s on its way!

It is my prayer, whatever one may dream, they know with certainty what it is and that it’s on its way! ✨

One has to be willing to change their mind if one is creating a new story.

In my experience..if I hadn’t realized I needed to let go of the life my husband and I created together, I wouldn’t be able to step fully into the next version of me.

I had to realize first and foremost he was coming with me.

Me moving forward did not require me forgetting or dismissing the life we built.

But it was asking me to think differently, put my lessons to the test, step into the next chapter.

That version of me required the me that grew with him.

Loss is the unimaginable, and for me not where I ever saw our story headed, it was never part our vision.

And yeah it still rumbles in my heart, but I refer to the knowing of my purpose through my own pain.

The thing about loss for me is a constant reminder tomorrow is not promised.

It’s a reminder to love and live as loud as I can.

One chapter may end but one can choose how the next one begins.

What one believes within, becomes the pattern life reveals….

Fact…unless one is willing to put in the work, one will continue to experience what one believes internally.

If one assumes it won’t work out or end up a certain way, then that will be the pattern one will experience.

It may be different circumstances and people playing the role, but if one looks back there will be a pattern.

For instance…one loves to always be right.

So regardless of said outcome one is trying to create, if one assumes deep down it can’t happen, it won’t.

Why? Not because one doesn’t deserve it, but because the feeling of one needing to be right is stronger.

It’s important to understand a feeling is information, and a reaction is created from an old experience.

Question to ask would be why is it so important to be right? What does it mean if I’m wrong?

Here’s the interesting part, that I have learned in this perspective, it’s usually a program one ran as a child.

One always holds the power to change their story, one just has to get real honest with themselves.

Are there truly obstacles in the way, or is it just the perspective from one’s current beliefs?

Let’s use time…

One doesn’t think there’s enough of it.

Look at the hours spent on ones phone.

Keep a record next to the chair one sits in to binge Netflix.

Not to long ago, I was reminded just how precious time is.

In fact, I don’t think there’s been a day it doesn’t cross my mind.

In my experience, when I feel unaligned I look at my time.

How I’m spending it, what am I avoiding, what can I do differently to produce a different outcome.

What am I trying to accomplish?

When I do this, I don’t always like to look at the truth.

Because at times, my answer is comfort and typically it requires getting uncomfortable.

And to tie it all back in, it comes from an old story….

Just my two cents…

One is not meant to survive their story, one is meant to rewrite it.

I chose to rewrite my pain into purpose.

I chose to move forward when I didn’t feel ready.

I chose to love fully while my heart felt broken.

I chose to see the lesson even when it felt unfair.

I chose to count my blessings even when I felt empty.

I chose to stay faithful even when I wanted to question.

I chose to live and love instead of surviving.

Over the last couple of days, I’ve relistened to some of Jim Rohnes YouTubes.

If you’ve never, I highly recommend.👌🏼

He talks a lot about discipline, and how one decision over time creates a compound effect on one’s life.

I started thinking of all the things I want to do in this beautiful life that I am blessed with.

And when I think of how far my own discipline has gotten me in life, I’m moved to tears.

Because, if I could give any gift to someone, it would be just that.

It is so difficult to stay strong in our values, goals, boundaries, energy and authenticity when one is doing one’s thing.

Especially, when we all long for connection.

The scary truth, is one positive person in a room with one negative person, one is most likely to be pulled down regardless of one’s positivity.

To stay on one’s path, two things are necessary, discipline and the people one chooses to spend our time with.
