I sincerely apologize for having to close abruptly Thursday. We will remained closed thru June 16.

Parents Night Out update
Our Gardening Parents Night Out scheduled for this evening will be rescheduled for a later date.

Interview scheduling update
If you had an interview scheduled during this time, whether by phone or in person, it will be rescheduled for the following week.

I understand how inconvenient unexpected changes can be, and I truly appreciate the families who have been patient and supportive. I work very hard to be reliable and I often go above and beyond for my families, even when it means rearranging my personal plans, because I care deeply about showing up for you and your Tiny Humans. Ms. B’s is my business and I take my commitment seriously, but I’m also a person and a mom. In emergency situations, I may need to make last minute changes.

My Tiny Human has been admitted into the hospital after ongoing concerns and multiple hospital visits over the past week. Right now, my focus has to be on her health and making sure she’s safe.

Thank you for your understanding and grace during this time. I will share updates about reopening and the rescheduled date as soon as I am able. 🙏🏾

This morning’s front yard moment was pure peace. Two Tiny Humans in their little chairs, soaking up the fresh air and watching the cars go by like it’s the most important job in the world. There’s something so special about slowing down and letting them just observe, wonder, and feel safe right where they are.

Connection is the heart of what I do at Ms. B’s.

When families trust me with their Tiny Humans, it becomes so much more than childcare. It’s learning who they are, what makes them feel safe, what makes them laugh, what helps them settle, and how to love them well in the way they need. Over time, that kind of care turns into real connection and honestly, it starts to feel like family.

This week, one of my former Tiny Humans came back to visit. Her family moved out of state, but they were passing through and wanted to swing by. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to see everyone. I’ll be real, I had that little worry in the back of my mind wondering if she was going to remember me.

It took her maybe five minutes max before it kicked in.

But the one thing she definitely did not forget was the pets. She has always loved the cats, and seeing her light up over them again was the sweetest reminder that deep bonds don’t just disappear because time passes or life changes.

It was so beautiful and honestly a little surreal to see how much she has grown. Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. The connection matters. The love matters. The safe space matters. And once you’re part of Ms. B’s, you’ll always have a place here.

Now y’all make sure y’all come and visit too. The door is always open. 🤗

The Hive to Harvest is officially back and we are moving and GROOVING.

This upcoming Saturday is our first parent day out and I am so excited to kick things off with something that might sound simple but is actually a huge deal for our garden goals… DIRT.

A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to Mr. Tobias for donating dirt to support our Tiny Humans and our Hive to Harvest program. Donations like this help us keep building hands-on experiences that connect our babies to nature, learning, and community in the sweetest way.

One thing about this program is that it is always evolving and elevating. As new resources, new connections, and new ideas come in, we grow right along with them and I love that for us.

We are also looking forward to our gardening party and over the week we will be working slowly, safely, and intentionally to shovel and transport the dirt into our gardening beds. We want to make sure everything is safe and ready for our Tiny Humans before we start planting and playing in the garden space.

Thank you for cheering us on and being part of the village. More updates coming soon.

If you want, tell me the exact time for Saturday’s parent day out and I can add it in naturally without changing the vibe.

Parent Partnership

This month at Ms. B’s, we’re excited to introduce a brand new section: Parent Partnership. Moving forward, we’ll be putting a bigger focus on strengthening the teamwork between home and the Hive because when parents and providers are truly aligned, our Tiny Humans feel more secure, supported, and confident. We want parent partnership to be a major priority here, and this section will be a warm, consistent space to share simple ways we can stay connected, communicate clearly, and work together to help your Tiny Human thrive.

Here are a few ways we can keep our partnership strong this month:

🗓️ Share updates early: If anything changes at home (sleep, teething, new foods, big feelings, schedule shifts), send me a quick note those little details help us support your Tiny Human with more ease.

🧸 Comfort items are welcome: Feel free to send a labeled lovey, paci, or small comfort item if it helps your Tiny Human transition smoothly.

💬 Open communication always: Questions, concerns, or “hey, can we try this?” conversations are always welcome. We’re a judgment-free zone over here.

🌱 Montessori-style support at home (optional): If you’d like to match what we’re building in the Hive, try offering simple choices (“blue cup or yellow cup?”) and letting your Tiny Human help with tiny tasks like tossing a diaper, putting toys in a bin, or wiping a small spill with lots of encouragement, of course!

Thank you for showing up with love and teamwork it truly makes all the difference. 🐝💛

Rainy days don’t have to mean “stay inside” days.

This morning we had a light drizzle, and instead of changing the plan, we adjusted the clothes. Warm layers, bundled up in the stroller, protective rain gear over the stroller and off we went. And honestly? The Tiny Humans did great.

I really believe there’s no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing. When we treat every change in the forecast like a reason to stop living, kids learn to shrink back from discomfort. But when we keep our rhythm and simply prepare differently, they learn something bigger: we can keep going, we can adapt, and we can handle what life brings.

Fresh air still matters when the sky is gray. Movement still matters when it’s damp. And nature doesn’t stop being valuable just because it’s misty outside.

And I’m excited because I’m already looking ahead to adding kid-friendly wet suits/rain suits into our outdoor gear options because I want our outdoor time to feel like freedom, not fear of getting messy. I’m talking full-on “yes, we can go outside” energy… and yes, I’m absolutely looking forward to the day we can confidently jump in muddy puddles (the right way, with the right gear).

Because childhood is meant to be lived rain and all.

Tiny Humans morning = sunshine + garden progress!

We headed outside early to soak up some sun before it got too hot, and I started working on our Tiny Human Garden Area. Today’s progress included pulling the weeds off the fence and getting our garden boxes added with more coming soon!

This is all part of our “Hive to Harvest” journey helping our Tiny Humans understand that food doesn’t just appear at the store. When children get to be part of the process (planting, watering, watching it grow, and eventually harvesting), it builds:
- Connection to what they eat
- Patience and pride in caring for something over time
- Curiosity about nature, bugs, weather, and seasons
- Healthier habits and willingness to try new foods
- Confidence from real, hands-on helping

As this garden space grows, I’m excited to add a few intentional touches to make it even more engaging, like:
- A “Garden Jobs” station (kid-size gloves, watering cans, spray bottles, and tools for our little helpers)
- A watering station (so they can help care for our plants)
- A pollinator corner (bee/butterfly-friendly flowers to support nature learning)
- A garden observation spot (magnifying glasses + “what do you see?” prompts)
- A simple clean-up station (wipes/handwashing after garden time)

I’m really excited about what this space is becoming. Gardening gives our Tiny Humans a chance to slow down, use gentle hands, and learn through real-life experiences one small step at a time. It also creates so many natural moments for language (“seed,” “sprout,” “root,” “leaf”), teamwork, and celebrating growth in a way they can actually see. I can’t wait for them to help water, notice the changes each day, and eventually be proud of what they helped grow from start to finish. More updates coming soon!

Okay okayyyy, I couldn’t keep this to myself anymore… 👀🐝✨

June/July was the plan (June for current families, July for new families) but y’all have been READY to come back, and honestly things have been going so well that I’m opening up sooner than expected! With this refresh, I’ll be leaning more intentionally into Montessori core beliefs and practices—respect for the child, independence, hands-on learning, and a thoughtfully prepared environment. This isn’t a huge shift (we’ve already been doing a lot of this in a Montessori-style way)… we’re really just putting a name to what’s been working and building on it. We’re also adding some exciting new touches and offerings, including:

🐝 Outdoor Classroom

🐝 An outdoor gardening area

🐝 More sign language woven into our daily routines

🐝 Hive Night Out (parent night out!)

🐝 Day at Ms. B’s (weekend, full-day drop-in care)

🐝 and soooo much more 🤗

This space will be a living, growing project things will keep changing and updating as new ideas come and furniture gets delivered, put together, and added. So don’t blink… you might miss a new corner. 😉

Last night was Spa Night with one of my older Tiny Humans—and let me tell you, it was much needed! 💅🧖🏽‍♀️✨

We pampered our hands, soaked our feet, and even gave our hair a little extra love. It was full of giggles, self-care, and sweet conversation. Sometimes the best memories come from the simplest moments. 💜

At Ms. B’s, we’re not just about routines—we’re about connection, creativity, and making every day feel a little special. 💫
