The waiting hasn’t changed, but neither has the hope.

It’s still here, woven into our days, in the middle of weekly work routines, play time, school runs, baseball, dinners, and bedtime routines.

There’s already so much life in this home, and still, we know there’s room for more. 💚

We’re not rushing this season. We’re living it, trusting it, reminding ourselves that it’s all in His timing and staying open to what’s ahead.

Our home is ready. He is ready. Our hearts are ready. For the right time, right birth mom and right child to complete our family.

The waiting isn’t always easy

We began this journey again in 2024.

Then God invited us to slow down
to walk through change, uncertainty, and growth,
learning to trust His timing more deeply.

The waiting wasn’t empty.
It was filled with prayer, refining, and quiet hope.

And now, today, we’re here again
opening our hearts and our arms to a second adoption,
trusting that when the time is right, He will make it happen.

We absolutely love a holiday or celebration. Some of our favorite places to celebrate are the beach, Walt Disney World, some favorite local restaurants around town.

Celebrating big and small things are a huge part of our lives and we are excited to hopefully celebrate even more soon!

We are a family of 3 looking to grow our family via private adoption, domestically. We are home study approved and looking for a newborn baby, no gender preference.

Let’s talk… “why adoption?” What we have learned since adopting our son is that most people think adoption was our second choice. But for us… it wasn’t. Honestly, it never was. Did we find out that we would have trouble getting pregnant on our own, absolutely. Did that change anything for us in terms of how we were going to grow our family, absolutely not! Adoption has been something that Chris and I had on the table since the early days of dating. As we continued to grow in life, marriage, work and viewing the world, we grew closer and closer to that truth. There were little signs or moments that we look back on now and can confidently say, yep, that was God telling us that this was always the plan. And isn’t that ALWAYS the way it goes? HIS plan is so much bigger and better than your own. And that is SO true with our story for J. So, when we felt that the time was right to grow our family again, the plan was always adoption. It is the honor of a lifetime to be apart of this community and we are hopeful that we get to hold that honor again, someday soon.
