My Nona’s Kitchen
Ever since I was a little girl I have had a love for cooking. I was blessed to have my Nona (Grandmother in Italian) teach me at a young age. Not only my Nona, but my amazing mother too. The memories you make in the kitchen stay ingrained in your mind forever. Laughter, tears, and joy were shared. I can still smell the aroma of her amazing Italian food walking home from school. All of my friends couldn't wait to see what Nona was cooking. Today 30 something years later I share these traditions with my own family. My lasagna recipe has been a family Christmas tradition. If you’re stepping foot in my door you know you are coming for a slice. Covid-19 has brought such grief and anxiety to so many it’s left many of us questioning so much. During this time I wanted to do something for others. How could I bring smiles to others? Then the idea came to me in a dream of my Nona. Why not share my special Lasagna with others. Nothing makes someone smile more then comfort food. Every lasagna I make is with love and I hope to share this with you.
