Today, our featured speaker was Abigail Kinnison, Director of Capital Programs with VIA Metropolitan Transit. She spoke to us about the Green and Silver Line's design, objectives and project schedules. The main goal is to connect more people to more opportunities by providing faster, more reliable and accessible public transit. It was an informative review of what's to come for our San Antonio residents that rely on public transportation. Join us next month on October 16th to hesr more about what's going on in our city and industry!

Chapter 39's August general meeting was held at a new venue and we had an amazing turn out! We are working on adding more value to our members in the coming months so if you have feedback or suggestions on what you would like to see as a member, we are all ears. Our September meeting with be on the 18th and will feature a speaker from VIA to discuss the new green line. We hope to see you there!

We just returned from the Region 2 Fall Forum in College Station. It was a great experience full of opportunities for networking and listening to speakers from all over the state. The IRWA does an amazing job of providing value for our members. We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Spring Forum hosted by our very own Chapter 39!
