About a month ago, we had the incredible pleasure of baking for WorldatWork, an international organization with employees from 168 countries, who chose San Antonio as the home for their human resources conference, bringing people from all over the world together.

They wanted something that truly screamed San Antonio culture, and we were incredibly honored to be chosen.

As a small business, being trusted to provide a sweet treat for each of their 150 attendees felt surreal. We planned for weeks, every detail mattered. The colors, the boxes, the ribbons, the tags… all carefully chosen to create something special.

When I share moments like this, I receive so many kind messages telling me how proud people are of what we’ve achieved. And not gonna lie… it makes me incredibly happy.

But the truth is, no one told me they were proud the first time I tried the recipe. Not on my first sale. Not on my first big sale. Not when I was fighting my fears. Not when I kept trying despite all my insecurities. Not when I took scary chances on ideas that might fail.

People often feel proud once they see that you “made it.” Once the ideas worked. Once the risk paid off.
So if this is you… If you’re starting something new… If you’re scared, exhausted, doubting yourself, but still trusting your gut and showing up anyway…

I want to tell you something:
I am proud of you.

Because so many people never even try. They let fear decide for them. Don’t let that be you✨
