to that time when you did that thing you weren’t sure you could do...and you did it anyway, one baby step at a time.
I remember not posting this pic back then because of lots of internal negative judgments. Things change and I’ve changed in so many ways and today I can share this and feel happiness, not concerned with what I looked like, but glad that I accomplished this goal and filled with gratitude for the body that helped me do it.
Don’t waste time criticizing and berating yourself - be accepting and kind to yourself.
Challenge yourself with goals that energize your mind, body and soul.
I always say, “I’m a completer - not a competitor” and that means at the finish line there is only good feels and gratitude for the race not a concern for my pace in the pack.

Learning how to accept your body and changing the conversations in the home away from negative body talking is a good way to keep the lines of communication open and assist your child when they struggle with body image.

In our program we are always communicating with our audience that the amount of time spent and the content of what you are viewing on all of the social media platforms, tv, and video games is key to having a positive relationship on your body satisfaction and self-esteem.

"Garbage In - Garbage Out" is one simple way to express that what we view and "take IN" on social media can ultimately influence what we "put OUT" about ourselves and the community around us.

So take time to find sites - or sites that celebrate your talents, interests and express your personality. Don't engage in viewing or sharing body shaming or body bullying posts. And away from body statements to focusing on the amazing world around us...and that includes the one and only unique and amazing you!!
