Last week the HGMS Kindness Club celebrated World Kindness Day by visiting Ellison Elementary school to read to Kindergarten students. We partnered with our friends at the Leaders Readers Network to gift each Kinder student a brand new book to take home, along with handwritten inspirational messages inside! 

What an amazing day, full of kindness, leadership, literacy, and joy! Our middle school students did a wonderful job being positive role models to the little ones and it was amazing to see them in action! 😍

Attention 7th Grade Parents: Your 7th Grade will be bringing home a yellow course selection worksheet this week! Please help them to select classes for next year and they will need to return it to their Texas History teachers by Friday, January 17th!

6th Grade Parents please read! The counselors have given guidance lessons for course planning for next year and your child will be taking home a limegreen course selection worksheet tonight! Please ask your 6th grade child about it!

HGMS will host Parent University next Tuesday, January 14th. The topic will be Advanced Academics. Current 8th grade families will also be able to hear a presentation from Brandeis and O’Connor about their Advanced Academics offerings.

We are so excited that our HGMS Counseling Team has been awarded the CREST Advocacy Level again this year! We are always honored to represent counselors in Texas and we feel that it is vital to reflect on our program in order to give kids the best opportunities possible. 💗
