Watermelon isnโt just a summer snack, itโs one of the most versatile fruits out there!
From rind to flesh to seeds, every part has potential, bringing unique textures and flavors you can actually use instead of toss.
That means less waste, more creativity, and making the most out of every slice. ๐

The day began with remarks from Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and insights from Representative Dan Newhouse before heading to Capitol Hill to advocate for the fresh produce industry.
I had the opportunity to meet with Representative Sarah McBride and staff from the offices of Senators Chris C***s and Lisa Blunt Rochester from Delaware, as well as staff from the offices of Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks and Representative Glenn Ivey from Maryland. We discussed topics such as the Farm Bill and labor challenges facing growers, including workforce availability and seasonal labor needs.
Proud to represent our growers and advocate for the farmers who help feed our communities while highlighting the issues impacting agriculture on Capitol Hill!

I had an incredible time cheering on Ross on Saturday and getting a behind-the-scenes look at all the race day action. From the energy at the track to seeing everything that goes into race day, it was such an awesome experience.
After the race, I loved handing out watermelon slices to fans at Grottos alongside Ross and the Delaware Office of Highway Safety. Thereโs nothing better than connecting with race fans and sharing a sweet treat after an exciting night at the track!๐๐
