Brides... please consider a first look with your girls. First looks are my favorite, because they encapsulate years of friendships and emotions, caught in a glimpse of a single moment.

The moments are big, but the emotions are bigger. I strive to capture the emotion, not just the moment.

Hill Country weddings are a whole vibe. Ancient oak trees. Vintage farm houses. Old dancehalls-turned-wedding-venues... checks all the boxes.

Is a thing? Well I sure think it should be! Thankful to be chosen to be a part of telling this love story. From here on out, I'm going to be one sad photographer if there's no Arch of Sabers sword ceremony in your military wedding. If this isn't the coolest tradition in armed forces weddings... then well, I'd sure like to see something cooler.

It's Fiesta Friday! You know what your Fiesta-themed wedding needs? A few (hundred) cascarones! As custom indicates for Jewish wedding celebrations, the guests are given an opportunity to entertain the bride and groom with masks, costumes, mini comedy skits... and in this case, LOTS of cascarones (confetti filled eggshells).

So yeah, this was a very memorable party!

I recently had my first chance to shoot at The Chapel at Gruene, and I gotta say, it's pretty dreamy. New Braunfels brides, please get me another chance to shoot here!

Large bridal party? No problem. Have a seat and we'll take it from there.

They say it's the bride's day, but dangit, sometimes the groom needs to be attended to as well. It's pretty great to have a laid back crew that will do whatever the photographer tells them. The dudes passed the vibe check.

I'll be honest. As a photographer, I have a love/hate relationship with cowboy hats. On sunny days, they are the bane of my existence. But when the sun is just right (overcast, not directly overhead, or shining through a window)... it's like Hollywood Magic.
