Glue traps.
They attract snakes.
When your pest control service placed these traps inside your garage, they are actually facilitating an encounter with a snake. They're inviting them to come visit.
✋ FULL STOP ✋
GLUE TRAPS MAY PUT YOUR FAMILY AND PETS IN DANGER.
In this photo, a Checkered Gartersnake has become stuck on a trap placed by a pest control technician inside the corner of a garage door. See the gecko? Gartersnakes aren't dangerous, but I've removed dozens of rattlesnakes and coralsnakes from these traps as well.
But how do they attract snakes? The traps quickly begin to trap insects. Then, critters that eat insects, such as geckos and lizards, become trapped when they approach what they thought was an easy meal. When the geckos and lizards get stuck trying to catch the insects, the snakes that eat them get trapped for the same reason. Many snakes eat lizards and geckos, including gartersnakes, racers, coachwhips, patch-nosed snakes, ratsnakes, venomous Texas Coralsnakes and Western diamondback rattlesnakes.
Snakes aren't the only creatures that I've seen trapped on these inhumane devices..birds, bunnies, squirrels, opossums, even kittens.
You'll see less snakes if you throw these traps in the trash.
So.... anyone see any snakecicles yet?
Why does the air hurt my face? I don't think it's supposed to do that

If you have bricks stacked in your garage or around your home, placing them like this can create a safe hiding spot for critters like this young Western Diamondback Rattlesnake I removed from a Converse garage yesterday afternoon. Placing them so that the holes don't show and make tunnels can help avoid situations like this one.

anyone who talks with me for 2 minutes can attest to this
This Western Ratsnake was so tangled up in netting that it was cutting into his skin in a few places. He's had a bad day up to this point and had no problem showing his displeasure despite being exhausted. Almost got me in the face in the second video clip🤣
