Thanks to those who attended the Down by Grayson Happy Hour.

We had @ 13 or 14 brothers that attend. Alabama, UT , Texas A&M, Texas Tech, OU all were represented. Sorry if I missed someone's school.

The antocouchos "Six Pack" Le Flore recommended were the best I've ever had .

For those of you that missed the happy hour and business meeting the weather was great and a good time was had by all. As usual it was good hearing everyone's input as well as old and new Beta stories from multiple chapters.

We had officer elections and the results are as follows :

Treasurer-John Leflore
Secretary-Chris Kardys
President-Joe Rust
Alumni Relations- Matt Brawner(new office)

We want to thank Tracy Wilson our outgoing Secretary and Yancy Swearingen our outgoing President for their multiple years of service.

Tracy did a great job of keeping the database and distributing communications for Beta events. Yancey did an incredible job as president. That involves keeping us informed from a local to national level, scheduling activities, performing rituals, and providing tremendous leadership that helped build a more active Alumni Association.


In the general meeting we discussed improving communication to drive participation and planning future events.

From a communications standpoint we will move the database to Mail Chimp, use Outlook Invites , and utilize a new San Antonio Beta Alumni Association page.

We discussed new happy hour and event locations which included a Top Golf outing and doing another Beta Dove Hunt. We have attached a flyer with our June happy hour that includes our upcoming schedule of events.

In closing I just want to encourage you to attend when you can and hope to see you soon .
