I recently picked these beauties from my garden. Every morning, I sit outside and have my herbal tea. Then, I walk from the front to the backyard and chat with all my plants. I pick off suffering leaves and ensure my plants are not being eaten by bugs. I believe they benefit from our loving/nurturing energy just like our pets do. :)

Found this plant in my backyard. I took a bite of it because I learned: It's high in iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium, and vitamins A, C, E, and K, as well as a whole host of beneficial antioxidants and phytochemicals. Medicinally, Henbit is best used internally as a tea. It is anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory, so it's great for relieving chronic pain, soreness, and stiffness. Doesn't have much flavor. 😀

Jeremy and I had fun in Old Town Helotes today! Visited some lovely ladies at Lesters, saw soo many cool things at antique stores, where I found an owlsome mug ;). Can't have too many cool mugs! Got my cowgirl hat from Cheetahlish, I'll be wearing when we go country dancing for my bday! 😀 it was a great day!
