New video out from Mid Spring of when Peggy Martin was in full bloom. In this video we answered some common questions we get about her and talk about our experience with her. She has truly become one of our favorite roses in the garden. Even as she is slowing down and coming into her green she is still beautiful. Hope you enjoy the video. ππππππ

Itβs a birdie, bird world out here. πͺΊ Mockingbirds have taken over one of the Carding Mill rose trees by our front door and any time now her eggs will hatch. The cardinals have moved from the laurel and are busy building a second nest on Peggy Martin rose while papa Cardinal helps mama Cardinal and looks after their young. For me Iβm watering containers this morning we have reached 90 degrees once again and some containers need to be watered once a day. We also got a big project in the kitchen garden as well. Have a buen dia garden friends. ππππππ

Good day! Itβs that time when I start to see who needs to be filled in with a little extra in the garden. Here are two pots I planted with petunias and geraniums around early spring. Itβs done amazing! But I wanted to add something that could take more of the summer heat incase the petunias fizzle out and the geraniums shut down. Mandevilla does amazing in our zone 8/9 summer heat in the full sun, itβs become a must. This variety doesnβt climb up it fluffs out with beautiful flowers and as it grows it will give a little protection from the sun to the other plants till we get back to cooler weather in fall. Then it will all come to bloom! This is how I keep the garden going all growing season. ππππππ

When you like a flower you post again. Angie posted this a few days ago but I had to get a pic of this bloom. We planted this one last year in ground and finally got to see it bloom. I have to say this is one of my favorite looking Daylily. Ruby Spider is her name and she can grow to about 2 1/2 feet tall and wide. Thrives in almost any soil with full sun in zones 3-9. ππππππ

Itβs been a nice and slow Saturday. I headed outside to water and check on the garden. Ambrose stayed in and started sowing some petunia seeds and a few others. Iβm back in and ready to join Ambrose. The excitement! πππππππ Seed Starter Premium Potting Mix holds the right amount of moister promotes root growth for all seedlings. π±
