Our Treobytes Scholars just competed at the 2026 Jacobs Teen Innovation Challenge — and they did NOT come to play.
This year, two cohorts of scholars tackled real-world problems head-on:

🌱 Smart Hydroponics designed an innovative hydroponic system to help end hunger
⚡ Energy Generation Playground engineered playground systems that generate clean energy

And the results? 10 nominations and a WIN. 🏆

A huge thank you to the CLA Foundation for their support! Through their grant, we were able to bring two full cohorts of young innovators to the stage — giving more San Diego youth the opportunity to design solutions that could change lives.
