That’s officially a wrap on our first week of AVID Summer Institute 2026! 🎉
What a way to kick off the summer.
To every educator, student emcee, AVID alum, speaker, presenter, volunteer, and staff member who showed up ready to learn, connect, and grow: thank you. Over the last week, we were reminded why this work matters and what makes the AVID community so special.
From inspiring conversations and powerful stories to new ideas and lasting connections, the energy across our first Summer Institute cities was incredible. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this first week such a success.
The journey is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings.

June is a season of endings and beginnings. A time to reflect on the lives changed this school year, celebrate the milestones, and step into summer with fresh energy for what’s ahead.
And for many of us, it also means Summer Institute season is here!
New ideas. New connections. Fresh inspiration. A chance to recharge before the next chapter begins.
