Join us in congratulating Kurstin on his high school graduation!
Over the years, we've watched Kurstin grow as a student, leader, and role model within the Club FBS community. His hard work, character, and commitment have opened the door to an exciting next chapter.
This fall, Kurstin will continue his journey at the University of California, Irvine.
We couldn't be prouder of all he has accomplished, and we can't wait to see what he does next.
Congratulations, Kurstin. Your Club FBS family is cheering you on every step of the way.

Meet Jayyden.
Kind, thoughtful, and unapologetically himself, Jayyden brings a unique perspective and sense of balance to Club FBS. As our first Young Brother to transition from the middle school program to the high school program, he's been part of the Club FBS journey for years.
As Club FBS founder, Ronald Preston Clark, puts it:
"Jayyden is a wonderful example of how young men do not have to fit into a particular stereotype to survive. He has built his own archetype and is a leader simply by being himself."
Every program needs a Jayyden, and we're grateful we have the original.
Help us celebrate Jayyden in the comments!

At Club FBS, we teach our Young Brothers that creativity starts with seeing the world differently.
It's the ability to generate new ideas, imagine new possibilities, and bring something original into the world.
The people who shape culture, build businesses, create art, and drive innovation all have one thing in common: they aren't afraid to think for themselves.
This week's Young Brother Foundation: Creativity.
Don't just follow the blueprint. Build one.

Join us in congratulating our Bell Middle School Young Brothers on their 8th grade promotions!
These young men were part of the foundation of the Club FBS Middle School Program. They were among the first students to take a chance on Club FBS and help make the program what it is today.
Through all the ups and downs, growth, celebrations, and laughter, Club FBS learned as much from our Bell Young Brothers as we hope they learned from us.
Now they're headed to high school and will continue their journeys as part of our Club FBS High School Program.
We are proud of them, grateful for them, and excited to see what comes next.
Congratulations, Young Brothers!

Last weekend, our Young Brothers visited the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego to experience Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys.
The exhibition features more than 130 works by Black American and diasporic artists from across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States, all from the personal collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys.
The visit built on a recent Club FBS lesson on Jean-Michel Basquiat, where our Young Brothers explored value, ownership, art as an asset class, and the idea of knowing your worth before the world recognizes it.
For our Young Brothers, this was bigger than a museum visit.
It was an opportunity to see culture, storytelling, investment, and legacy connected in real time through the work of artists who have shaped conversations around identity, history, resistance, joy, and value.
These experiences and conversations matter.

A budget tells you where your money goes.
Opportunity cost reminds you that every choice has a trade-off.
When you spend money on one thing, you’re giving up the chance to use it for something else.
At Club FBS, we’re helping our Young Brothers think about what they gain and what they give up with every decision.
This week’s Money Move: Opportunity cost.
The goal isn’t to stop spending. It’s to start choosing.
Before you spend, ask yourself: what’s the tradeoff?

Club FBS spent the day with Paddle for Peace last weekend, and it was something special.
Our Young Brothers learned the history of our connection to the ocean and got in the water for hands-on surfing lessons with an incredible team led by Risa Bell. For many, this was more than just surfing or a day at the beach. It was exposure, confidence, and a new experience they’ll carry with them.
Paddle for Peace is doing important work creating access to the ocean and opening up spaces that haven’t always felt accessible, and this partnership was a reminder of what can happen when organizations come together to create new experiences and expand what young people believe is possible.
Thank you Paddle for Peace for your time and excellence! Our Young Brothers truly enjoyed themselves.
