Playful Clown with Coicoi
August 22, 2026
10AM -1PM
Come play! This workshop is an invitation to reconnect with your curiosity, imagination, and sense of fun. Through games, movement, improvisation, and red nose clowning, we’ll explore what happens when we let go of trying to be perfect and allow ourselves to be fully present.
We’ll laugh, take creative risks, make mistakes, and discover how those “oops” moments can become some of the most magical parts of clowning. No experience needed, just bring comfortable clothes and a willingness to play.
Whether you’re a performer, educator, parent, or simply someone looking for more joy in your life, this workshop is for you. CoiCoi is teaching a mime class directly after Playful Clowning from 2-5, register for both workshops and spend the whole day playing and using your imagination!

Ughmerica the Beautiful Cabaret
Friday, July 3 & Saturday July 4
Doors 7:30 | Show 8PM
Does the thought of a performative celebration of patriotism in the face of American decline make your head feel like bursting? Does the fanciful frivolity of a firework show feel a bit out of place this year? Do you feel less like celebrating our nation and more like screaming into the void until your throat bleeds? If so, we invite you to experience the cathartic commiseration that only a clown could curate. This July 3rd & 4th spare yourself the spectacle of the state and join us at Church of Clown for an evening of satire, absurdity, and resistance in UGHmerica The “Beautiful”, a 4th of July Clown Cabaret. These strange, funny, heartfelt, messy, musical, confrontational and beautifully unhinged acts will explore politics, patriotism, power, protest in cutting commentary on our American Circus.

June 15-July 6, 2026
4 WEEK CLASS - Mondays, 7-9pm
“All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players”
Brave the wandering Forests of Arden, the rigid Castles of Elsinore, and the bustling streets of Verona for a deep dive into the funny-folk and truth-tellers of the English Renaissance- The Fools! In this physical acting class, students will excavate the gamut of Shakespearean Clowns, Fools, and Mythic Entities.
Acting instructor Jamin Jollo will guide performers to develop their unique spins on traditional Fool and Clown archetypes through scenes and monologues from Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, comedies, and histories. This class will arm creators with tools to analyze scripts, craft dramatic narratives, and cast a physical point of view upon their audience. Actors will walk away with an analyzed, adapted “Fools” monologue, a deeper understanding of Shakespearean text, and insight into playing a duet clown scene in a “heightened language” play.
This class is for all skill levels and areas of performing interest.
Bring a writing utensil, comfortable clothes, and a playful curiosity.
