It’s Lammas in a few days, the mid-point between summer solstice and autumn equinox. Nature’s changing season is mirrored within us. The seasons don’t just happen “out there”. They happen inside our own being too. 
 While the cross-quarter holidays fall on a specific date, I think of them more as a season, meaning there’s at least 10 days where you can really feel the changes in the air, and most notably, in the plants. Check tomorrow’s post for more about Lammas season.

Winter Solstice Explained.

Upcoming Garden Sculpting w/Cob!
AUGUST 21, 2022 ~ 8AM to 2pm

In this super fun, family-friendly 1-day event we will be learning all of the basic concepts for creating a medium called COB ~ a mix of clay, sand and straw, to sculpt small structures!

Together we will harvest materials right here on property and learn the COB recipe. You will get hands-on experience and gain all the knowledge and confidence to go home and make a garden sculpture of your own!

THE PROJECT: We will be creating a rock foundation and sculpting a bird bath using our hands.
