Last night, during the June board meeting, SFISD Board of Trustees approved an employee compensation plan.

SFISD is proud to support our staff with meaningful steps that make a difference, both NOW and in the year ahead:
✔️ One-time 2% bonus due to recent inflationary costs for all staff to be paid out this week
✔️ Pay raises for the 26–27 school year - 1% for teachers and 2% for all other staff members from the midpoint
✔️ Increased district contribution to health insurance of $55 towards monthly insurance premiums

These decisions reflect our commitment to valuing the people who serve our students every day.

Due to expected heavy rain and the risk of flooding, Santa Fe ISD will be closed on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

This closure includes ESY, Credit Recovery, all athletic camps, and Creative Explorers. Students scheduled to take an EOC or STAAR exam will be rescheduled. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.
