There’s a quiet shift that happens when you stop chasing more—and start paying attention to what you’re actually experiencing.
In Treasure Map to Joy™, I explore the idea that our greatest breakthroughs don’t come from doing more, but from becoming still enough to recognize what’s already there… and what’s ready to change.
This perspective was also explored in a feature with CEO Official Magazine, highlighting how peace isn’t something we earn through achievement—it’s something we learn to access from within.
If you’re ready to experience more clarity, peace, and alignment in your life, this is a powerful place to begin.

Yet another reason to not make assumptions! 😂 But seriously, what are some benefits of not making assumptions? For one, it reduces worry. Wouldn’t it be great to release worry? Avoiding assumptions can lead to clearer communication and reduce misunderstandings in your personal and professional relationships. Would you rather foster empathetic and compassionate interactions that build trust and rapport? It also makes you smarter.
How, you ask?
Because basing decisions you make on facts rather than assumptions leads to more accurate and effective choices, both in personal life and in business scenarios. That’s the short but powerful list of benefits! Now you know!

Transitions — whether personal or professional — have a way of revealing what’s no longer aligned.
But naming the truth and deciding what comes next often requires space we don’t typically give ourselves.
Treasure Map to Joy™ offers that space through story.
It’s a thoughtful, narrative-driven exploration of change, self-honesty, and the quiet inner recalibration that happens when a woman begins to redefine her next chapter.
If you (or someone in your network) is navigating a season of shift, this may be a meaningful companion.

Can I be honest with you about something?
Clarity almost never arrives the way we expect it to. It doesn't show up with a big dramatic moment or a lightning bolt of inspiration. More often, it starts with something much quieter -- the moment you stop pretending.
Pretending you're fine. Pretending you're fulfilled. Pretending that an old version of you still fits the life you're living now.
We're really good at that, by the way. Most of us have been doing it so long we don't even notice anymore.
But at some point, something shifts.
It's subtle -- almost imperceptible -- but it's unmistakable once you feel it. Your inner truth starts asking to be heard. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just... persistently.
And that's actually where clarity lives. Not in the answers, but in the willingness to stop overriding what you already know.
If any of this is speaking to you right now, I'd love to invite you to explore the Clarity Sequence™.
This is not a quiz, a course, or coaching. It's a gentle, self-guided journey back to yourself -- to what you're actually feeling, what you genuinely need, and what you want next.

We’ve been taught that the way to get what we want is to stay busy.
Keep moving.
Keep doing.
Fill every minute.
Be focused and disciplined.
But there’s a difference between being intentional… and operating in frenetic energy.
You can be doing a lot—and still feel disconnected from what you’re actually doing.
I wrote about this and how shifting into a more calm, grounded presence can actually help you get more of what you want… not less.

Most triggers aren’t about what’s happening right now.
They’re about what the moment represents.
A tone of voice.
A look.
A comment that lands differently than expected.
And suddenly, you’re reacting to something deeper than the situation itself.
That’s why triggers can feel so intense—and sometimes confusing.
When you understand what’s underneath them, you stop taking everything at face value…
and start responding with more clarity and intention.
If you want to explore that for yourself, you can start here:

In my bestselling book, Treasure Map to Joy™, I tell the story of Maureen - a woman who faced divorce and job loss, leaving her at a major crossroads in life. Have you ever been standing in that intersection wondering which path to take?
Well, Maureen didn’t just “power through.”
She paused. She reflected. She got honest about where she really was in her life — and what she truly wanted to experience next.
Sometimes we just need to intentionally create our next best steps.
Not our entire life. Just the next best steps.
And as her journey unfolds, she’s guided through a process of gaining clarity before charting her path forward.
When we gain clarity — about what’s working, what’s not, what we want to feel less of and more of — everything begins to shift. Clarity is essential, but it also requires action. Because without it, nothing changes. And Maureen leaned into that.
She took an honest look at her current reality, then turned her attention to what felt true for her future.
She stopped chasing the “shoulds.”
She released old roles.
She let go of beliefs that no longer served her.
Instead, she focused on how she wanted to feel.
And that’s when new opportunities began to appear — including a job that lit her up in ways she hadn’t expected.
📖 That same kind of clarity is available to you.
It’s called the Clarity Sequence™, and it begins with two simple steps:
✨ Assessment = your current reality
✨ Aspirations = your desired future
This is how you gain clarity. And clarity is the foundation for charting your own Treasure Map to Joy™.

There’s a moment—right after you’re triggered—where everything can go one of two ways.
You react…
or you pause.
Most people never notice that moment.
Because the reaction is so fast, it feels automatic.
But with awareness, that moment becomes visible.
And once you can see it, you can use it.
That pause is where choice lives.
And choice is where your power is.
If you want to strengthen that awareness, you can begin here:

There comes a moment—sometimes quietly, sometimes with force—
when the old paths stop working.
The things that used to bring joy feel… different.
Not wrong, just no longer right.
This moment doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It means you’ve evolved.
Joy isn’t a single destination.
It changes as you change.
And when it no longer feels like it used to,
you’re not lost—you’re being invited to reorient.
This is where a lot of people get stuck.
They try to force joy through the old routes:
familiar routines, old roles, outdated versions of themselves.
They believe they should still feel joy from the same things.
That if something once lit them up, it should still.
Or they believe others define what joy is.
That it isn’t something they get to define.
Or worse—
they’ve lost the one thing that brought them the most joy,
and now they’re not sure joy is even available anymore.
But joy isn’t static.
It’s not a fixed formula.
And when what once brought it no longer fits—it’s not your fault.
It’s simply time to chart a new course.
Joy is a living emotion.
It adapts.
It refines.
It asks for honesty—and sometimes, for courage.
Right now, I’m living this recalibration myself.
I’m asking what joy looks like in this season.
Not in theory—but in the reality of my current life.
It’s not always comfortable.
Letting go of past definitions never is.
But it’s real. And it’s necessary.
Joy is never gone. It’s waiting to be redefined.
So, if you’re in a moment of your own re-evaluation—
trying to figure out what still fits, what needs to be released,
and what might be ready to emerge—
You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You’re just being asked to chart a new course.
One that fits who you are now.
In this season of life.
And I promise:
The treasure is still there.
It’s time to begin your treasure hunt…
