This past week, all seven trustees joined Dr. O’Neal for training designed to strengthen their knowledge of school governance, student outcomes, safety and leadership.

Coming to South Sherman in 2028! 🏫 After extensive research and evaluation of nearly a dozen potential sites, SISD’s next new elementary school is planned for 21 acres along West Travis Street near Northgate Drive. 🚜

After the new elementary school is complete, work can begin on planned middle school renovation projects. 🏗️

Spring STAAR results are now available! 🤗 Families can view scores for both grades 3-8 and End-of-Course (EOC) exams by visiting the SISD Parent Portal at www.shermanisd.net/grades. 💫

The Junior Master Gardener 🌱 program was recognized as this month’s Community Partner for their outstanding work at the Sherman ISD DAEP, where they generously volunteered to offer a wide range of hands-on lessons that brought science, curiosity, and confidence to life. 🌟

These weekly lessons fostered dynamic learning, cultivated responsibility and nurtured students’ pride in their work to promote a positive atmosphere. ♥️

Board members welcomed our two new principals for Neblett Elementary School and Crutchfield Elementary School at tonight’s Board of Trustees meeting! 🏫

Todd Frazier is joining us from Plano ISD and has 10 years of experience as an elementary principal in Anna, and Lisa Kusch returns to SISD after a 30-year career in Grayson County as a teacher, special education professional and campus administrator.
