As many of you have heard our baby sister Paula has gained her wings. It is always difficult when our loved ones pass away unexpectedly with no warning and we often find ourselves asking "why" and reflect back to the last time we saw and or spent time with them and feel a huge sense of sadness, loneliness, hopelessness and depression.
No one is getting out of this beautiful life alive, all we have is the here and now, these precious fleeting golden moments. If I can impress on you anything, it is to live your life as fully as you can, living in the present, building for the future and using the past as a educational experience instead of a prison and a burden that overwhelms you. You are God's gift, what you do with your life is your gift back to him.
The Home Going service will be next Saturday October 5th at 11 a.m., at Bethel AME Church, 645 S. Richard Allen Ct, Spokane, WA 99202
If you have any pictures you have that would like to see included in her memories video, send pm them to me asap and I will do what I can to include them. If you have video, let me know also.
Look for Paula's Obituary in Sunday's Spokesman Review paper. Thank you for your prayers. The Repast will be immediately after the service.
Life is short, live each and every day with an attitude of gratitude because you never know when it will be your last. There are no time outs, no substitutions, no instant replays. This is your one shot to live your best self and hopefully I hope and pray that you will reach out and touch somebodies life and be a beacon of hope for them as well.
Godspeed. Carpe diem!
