How to survive the last few weeks of school, aka: how to make it to summer without failing a class, starting drama, or making regrettable decisions!

End-of-school-year reminders for teens:

-Yes, summer is close… but your grades are still real.
-Don’t post things your future self will cringe at.
-Sleep is actually important (unfortunately).
-Eat food. Drink water. Your brain needs fuel!
-Don’t get in cars with reckless or distracted drivers.
-Avoid “this sounded funny at the time” decisions.
-Group chat drama is rarely worth it.
-Write stuff down so you don’t miss deadlines/events.
-Take breaks when stress starts feeling like too much.
-Have fun — just keep yourself and your friends safe

You do NOT need to end the school year perfectly. You just need to make it through safely, sanely, and with minimal chaos

Summer is coming. Hang in there! đź’ś

Please consider becoming a donor and helping us expand our Court Watch Program!

Court Watch is a powerful initiative that brings community members into Domestic Violence Protection Order hearings as observers. By documenting what happens in the courtroom, we gain valuable insight into the experiences of victim-survivors and identify opportunities to improve support and access to justice.

Your support helps us strengthen this work and advocate for a court system that better serves survivors. Visit our website and click “Donate Now” to learn more about how you can help.

Tomorrow is the 12th annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day and kicks off Wear Orange Weekend. We invite our community to join us in wearing orange and reflecting on what it means to create a safer future for everyone who calls this place home. 🧡
