Our Exceptional Scholars took STEM learning to the next level at Little Beakers! 🧪✨

From creating instant snow ❄️ to mixing up stretchy slime 🟢 and launching rockets 🚀, our students were fully immersed in hands-on science fun. Every experiment sparked curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking—STEM in action!

Week 2 of STEM Week was full of creativity, collaboration, and hands-on discovery! Our scholars built robots and bridges using LEGOs, strengthening their engineering and problem-solving skills. They also took on a “blind human robot” challenge, practicing communication, teamwork, and critical thinking in a fun and engaging way.

We celebrated Juneteenth by creating meaningful puzzles and learning through interactive activities that honored the importance of the holiday. Our scholars also enjoyed a special celebration for dads, recognizing family and connection in a joyful way.

To bring science to life, we visited Little Beakers for exciting experiments, and continued exploring STEM in the classroom with multiple hands-on investigations throughout the week.

From building and coding thinking to celebrating culture and community, Week 2 was a powerful reminder that STEM is everywhere—and our scholars are thriving in it!

Our Exceptional Scholars had an incredible opportunity to visit Wise Street Eats and interview the owner about the journey of building a successful business. From startup to expansion plans, our scholars asked thoughtful questions and gained valuable insight into entrepreneurship.
They wanted to know everything—from the best part of the business day to how many customers are served daily! Through this hands-on experience, students practiced their public speaking skills, built confidence, and learned what it takes to become successful business leaders.

Our scholars recently stepped into the role of CEO for a Day, and they absolutely thrived! From creating detailed business plans and developing marketing strategies to reviewing profit-and-loss projections and making business calls, they experienced firsthand what it takes to run a business.
The creativity, confidence, and leadership they demonstrated were truly inspiring. We are proud to provide opportunities that go beyond the classroom and empower our scholars to think big, dream bigger, and realize that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Our scholars visited Rice University for stop one on our Summer College Tour! We encourage them to always dream big, explore new possibilities, and see themselves in spaces of excellence.

Our Exceptional Scholars visited Park Manor Nursing Home and what an unforgettable experience it was! We blessed the residents with handmade cards, gifts, love, BINGO, and a special performance that filled the room with joy. The hugs were powerful, the smiles were genuine, and the connections were real.
Some residents shared that they haven’t had visitors in years, which touched our hearts deeply. Moments like these remind us that service, kindness, and compassion truly matter. Our scholars didn’t just visit — they made an impact.
