“You're never going to feel left out at River Bend. Everyone's connected, and everyone is always there for you. You can always go to someone and ask, can you help me go through this?"
Hearing our students and staff talk about what it means to be a Tiger makes it easy to see why River Bend Elementary is Parkway’s newest National School of Character, announced by Character.org this spring.
Congratulations to the entire River Bend community of students, staff, and parents for establishing a school culture where the students feel cared for, supported, and inspired to grow!

We need your help finding this chicken coop a home and recouping the coop costs! Thanks to our partners at Poettker Construction Company, who have already donated to support this project and future CTE projects for Parkway students. Hit the link in the comment section if you’re interested in the coop or want to donate to future projects.
Students spent the past semester collaborating across curricular areas to build a chicken coop from scratch, and we followed the process from start to finish. Hear how advanced construction, marketing, and even FACs students combined their skillsets and learning when bringing the chicken coop to market. 🐓🏡🛠️
For years, Parkway student-athletes trained and competed with a 30-year-old pole vaulting pit nicknamed "the puddle." Today, they have a safer, more reliable space to practice, build confidence, and pursue their goals.
Thanks to the Parkway corporate partners, we can provide givebacks to continue enhancing student experiences. This investment provides students with the equipment they need to train at their best. Thank you to our corporate partners for helping create opportunities that support student success and Parkway pride. 💙❤️

Another MSHSAA state title in Parkway! 🏆👏
Congratulations to West High for capping off an undefeated season with the Class 6 Scholar Bowl State Championship! This marks the program’s second state title, following their first championship in 2023. This year's Scholar Bowl disciplines were literature, science, mathematics, fine arts and history.
But they didn't stop at state. This past weekend, the Longhorns took on the best in the country at Nationals in Chicago, finishing an impressive 20th out of 72 teams. An extra shoutout to Soham Ray, who placed sixth overall individually to earn "All-Star" status!
