Stroll Edinburgh

We love when our neighbors share their favorite recipes and this one from Jan-Marie Wolfe has us running to the kitchen.

For the cake you will need one box of white or yellow cake mix, one small box of vanilla instant pudding, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup water, and 3/4 cup oil. Mix it all together and beat for about 5 minutes. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake at 50 to 60 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean. Let it sit for 15 minutes before loosening and flipping onto your cake plate.

For the glaze mix together 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup lemon juice while the cake is baking and set aside until ready.

Meet Beatrix Glass, aka Miss Bea. A few months ago she was alone in a kennel at the Henry County Animal Shelter with no hope left.

Today she is stealing shoes, collecting tennis balls from the neighbors, and wearing a disco collar at night in the Burgh. What a glow up.

🥋 Meet Edinburgh's own Tyler S. At just 13 years old, Tyler earned his first-degree black belt after three years of dedicated training at Elevate Martial Arts and Fitness. The final test alone was eight hours long. A three-mile run, 1,000 kicks, 1,000 punches, sparring, self-defense, and breaking a board. All on the same day.

"Earning my black belt is the hardest thing I have ever done," Tyler said. "It has taught me that the hardest things in life are the most rewarding if you honor your commitment."

We could not be more proud of you, Tyler. Edinburgh is cheering you on!
