š„ Weāve received many questions about our Le Teine Samoa Dance Group uniforms, and weāre happy to share some insight into how we do things behind the scenes:
1. Where did you get your group uniforms from?
ā All of our uniforms are exclusively made and designed through Tacianne Kreationz LLC, produced by our business branch in Apia, Samoa. We aim for the best quality and representation for our girls.
2. How did you afford to pay for everyoneās p**etasi?
ā Through monthly member fees and fundraising. Every contribution goes directly toward our uniforms, siva accessories, and other group essentials.
3. Do the girls get to keep their uniforms?
ā Yes! Each member gets to keep their full set of uniforms at the end of the season, as long as they complete the entire season.
4. How do you choose the color for your uniforms?
ā Itās not a one-person decision! We choose colors as a team. Everyone has a say, and we collectively decide on the colors that best represent us for that season or month.
5. Is it one p**etasi per season or how does it work?
ā Our goal is to have a different p**etasi every month. That way, we keep things fresh and donāt wear the same outfit throughout the whole season.

LETS CLEAR A FEW THINGS UPā¼ļø
We had made a decision that we wouldnāt entertain this nonsense because we donāt owe anyone an explanation. But the fact that this has been brought to our attention not once, not twice, but multiple times now, clearly means someone out there is out here speaking on our name.
āNo one wants to dance for LTS?ā
Thatās completely false. Just because Le Teine Samoa Dance Group didnāt open this year doesnāt mean there was no interest.
This year, we decided to take a break. It wasnāt because of lack of interest, it was a strategic pause as we prepare for a stronger comeback next year. A break to rebuild, refocus, and work on the areas we know we can improve. Itās also giving us the space to explore new ideas and prepare for even greater projects in the upcoming year.
Despite the break, weāve received many inquiries from parents looking to enroll their kids into LTS. So no, itās not about lack of dancers, itās about balance, timing, and making sure we do things right.
Running a dance group comes with a lot of sacrifices and commitment. So of course, we have to make sure weāre fully in 100%, before opening up for another season. Thatās just the standard we hold ourselves to. Last year, I was 7 months pregnant with my youngest and still ran LTS under the leadership of Belinda Nielsen. With a big olā belly, I stood next to Belinda at every single gig, committed, present, and pushing through.
Although our kids arenāt dancing with LTS this year, theyāve joined their school dance groups to continue staying connected to the culture and community. We support them fully and cheer them on from the sidelines just like we do for every child out there proudly representing our roots.
LTS is not in competition with anyone. Never was, and never will be. If youāre out there speaking & using Le Teine Samoa Dance Group as a comparison or competitor, may God bless you.
But know this, our culture, our values, and our passion for Siva Samoa will never be a competition. Itās deeper than that. Itās about preserving our identity, uplifting our youth, and honoring the legacy of those who came before us. So while others may choose to compare or compete, we choose to stay focused, stay rooted, and move with purpose.
LTS isnāt gone. Weāre just taking a breather and when we return, best believe itāll be bigger, better, and stronger.
With so much love,
Lorenza Rotacianne Lotulelei Fetui
