Ingredients:
1. Tomahawk Stake cut ~ 30oz๐ฅฉ
2. Season the stake with slat and pepper before cooking it for at least 10 minutes. Tip๐: add small portion of olive oil to the stake while seasoning so that the stake absorb it.
2. Unsalted Butter ๐ง
3. Olive oil.
4. One Fresh Rosemary ๐ฟ
5. One Fresh Oregano leaf ๐ฟ
6. Three pieces of Garlic ๐ง
โโโโโโโโโโโโโ
Heat up the frying pan to max heat, then put olive oil on the pan, so that the stake doesnโt get burnt from the outside, and it actually protect the stake from over cooking the outside layer of the stake.
Next, place the stake on the pan for about 15 minutes for each side. Less flipping and more concentration on letting the stake take its time to cook from the inside.
Third, we add the other ingredients after our first flip (where one side looks well cooked).
Fourth, we take the stake juices, butter, and all the seasoned oils and place it above the stake while its cooking the other side of it. Repeat the same process for the other side of the steak ๐ฅฉ
Last but not least, after you have finished the steak make sure that you let it rest on a plate from 5 to 18 minutes. This is the most important step because it gives time for the inside of the stake cook.
๐ก: Cooking big meals on weekends will last for 3-4 days. Of course, you could cook similar portion of rice, and store them in air tight containers. And the only thing that I need to do is the salad which will not take that much time to prepare. Although it might take a long time to prepare the whole meal on one day, it have saved me so much time throughout the week which makes it worthwhile.

Eating Right During The Most Stressful Times
Stephan: The most difficult part of eating right for me during midterms and finals is when I am in the store doing the grocery shopping. More specifically determining what items I actually need over the items I want in the moment. I categorize these foods as discretionary purchases. As someone who likes to stay active making sure you stick to a plan is key. One solution that personally helps me stick to my plan in the grocery store is making a list before I go to the store so I know exactly what I need in order to make my visit as efficient as possible.
Leena: The most difficult thing for me about eating healthy during stressful times. Is stress snacking. Whenever I have to start studying for long periods of time at a time (like for midterms and finals) I always end up getting hungry, and start snacking on whatever I can find around the house. That ended up in me finding a whole lot of junk food, candies, chips, cookies, you name it. This caused me to gain quite a few pounds, which became harder and harder to take off as time went by. This is when I realized that something had to change. I tried to stop all snacking, but then it got harder to focus on my studies. This made me realize that I needed to get healthier foods to snack on. I made sure to keep the fridge stocked with healthier alternatives like cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, and all kinds of fruits. This really helped me to keep my snacking on and my health in good shape.
Ian: Personally I experience the most intense stress when I feel like I donโt have enough time to complete things I need to, which is often the case during midterms and finals. When you have a lot of studying to do it is hard to manage time, and as we all know it takes time to prepare healthy meals. In these situations it is easy to settle for unhealthy options like fast food and through that I have learned the importance of planning ahead. Doing things like preparing ingredients the day before or minimizing required ingredients are great ways to make the cooking process a little quicker.
Basil:
Since the past year, I started doing the ketogenic diet. With dieting in general, it takes a huge commitment, especially when you are trying to replace your source of energy. In addition, it takes longer time to select the groceries needed when on a diet; so as a college student, staying on the keto diet was a struggle. My advise to college students is that when you are following a diet, it is ok to by cheaper alternatives like inorganic vs organic produce, or prepared meal kits. Meal kits can be expensive, but if enough research has been done, one could find great deals.
Hesham:
Time: As a college student, the main thing that I lacked was not having enough. On average it takes me about 1-2 hours to prepare a meal and something 3 hours when including washing the dishes. So, basically 6-8 hours have gone for sleep, 1-2 for cooking, so what is left is 16 hours a day to do homework, assignment, and attend classes, which leaves a small number of hours for a college student to enjoy their life. I struggled with that, so we decided that the best way to improve the lifestyles of college students is giving them a feasible amount of Time๐คทโโ๏ธ

Happy everyone! Today's focus is energy! ๐ช๐ง
As a college student it is important that you have the energy you need to take on all those grueling assignments and one of the best sources of energy is B vitamins (NOT ENERGY DRINKS). B vitamins are especially important because they are at the center of our cellular energy metabolism and are crucial for brain function. There are eight B vitamins: 1-3, 5-7, then 9 and 12. Some foods that are great sources of most if not all of these are whole grains, leafy greens, avocados, legumes, eggs, salmon, beef, chicken, and pork.
