She did all the hard work and made intentional decisions to achieve her goals and i am so proud of her (and her partner!)

The instructors had the opportunity to tour the birth center in Nashville this morning and my mind is blown! Such an incredible example for how it can be. This was the most incredible example of birth center and hospital integration I've ever seen. What an inspiration!

Don't mind me, I'm just over here fangirling over getting to hang out with, and learn from, the remarkable Rebecca Decker and the rest of the team! I can't wait to get home and start implementing what I've learned!

Today is International Day of the Midwife and I want to take a minute to celebrate one of my doula besties and partners - ! In addition to bring a birth & postpartum doula, a lactation educator, and placenta encapsulator, Sheilena is also currently about halfway through her midwifery training program! She's an incredible asset to our community and going to be an amazing midwife! I'm so proud to have this incredible human on my team!
