🎉🚲 Congratulations to our 126 students who achieved PERFECT attendance with NO tardies between April 20th–May 20th! We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to showing up every day ready to learn. 🐅
To celebrate their achievement, every qualifying student was able to pick out their very own game or prize! 🎲🎁
A special congratulations to our bike winners: 🚴♀️ Emilly Medina Guevara – 5th Grade
🚴♀️ Jewell Smith – 3rd Grade & PERFECT attendance for the entire school year! 👏
These 2 girls not only attended school every day and arrived on time, but they also consistently demonstrated great character, positive attitudes, and their best effort each day. 🌟
Thank you to the Hillsborough Education Foundation Attendance Grant that helped fund our schoolwide attendance initiative and Frameworks of Tampa Bay and onbikes for generously donating the bikes,
Over the past two years, Temple Terrace Elementary’s average daily attendance rate has increased from 62% to 91%, while chronic@@ absenteeism has decreased from 38% to 30%! 📈
While we still have work to do, we are incredibly proud of the growth our students, families, and staff are making together. Every day counts! r❤️

Today was our final cooking class with Where Love Grows! ❤️🍽️
For our final session, each student created their very own lasagna to take home and bake with their family. Students also enjoyed sharing a family-style meal together while celebrating everything they accomplished over the past three weeks.
To make today even more special, every student was gifted their very own chef hat, red handkerchief, and apron from Where Love Grows, along with a swag bag from GTE Financial complete with a recipe book featuring all of the meals made throughout the class. The smiles, excitement, and pride on their faces said it all! 👩🍳👨🍳
A huge thank you to Where Love Grows, GTE Financial, and all of the incredible volunteers who poured their time, love, and energy into making this experience so meaningful for our students. Partnerships like these truly help strengthen our TTE ʻOhana and create unforgettable learning opportunities beyond the classroom. 🐅 🌸

👩🏽🍳🌮 Week 2 of our Where Love Grows Cooking Class was a delicious success! All 25 students returned this week excited and ready to cook, learn, and have fun together! 💙
This week’s menu featured tacos and nachos, and students learned an important kitchen skill — how to safely brown meat while working together as a team. From preparing ingredients to enjoying the meal they created, our students are building confidence, learning life skills, and making memories along the way.
One teacher shared that the kids talked about the class all week and couldn’t wait for today’s session — which says so much about the impact this opportunity is having on our students!
We are so thankful for this incredible opportunity through our Unlimited Potential Initiative Grant and the amazing volunteers who make this experience possible each week! 🌟
