Wow! Very pleased with the quality of this Tanzanian Peaberry. A peaberry forms from a natural mutation where only one seed develops inside the coffee cherry instead of the usual two. The result is a smaller, denser, & rounder bean with unique character. On average, only about one in nine coffee cherries produces a peaberry, & it takes time & patience to hand-sort them from the rest.

We roast this blend of Colombian, Brazilian, and Guatemalan beans just to the point where they release a light, oily sheen… our take on a classic Vienna Roast. Balanced, bold, & beautifully nuanced.

Coffee originated in an ancient region of Africa, where people discovered its seeds had energizing effects. From there, it spread, captivating cultures and fueling the world.

The term “Full City Roast” originated in the U.S. but was inspired by the roasting style of Northern Italian coffeehouses, where beans are roasted just past the first crack, balancing acidity and body.
