Make sure to prune the non leaf bearing parts of the tomato plant. This also gives more room for your tomatoes to breathe and the sun will hit them so it will ripen.
You'll be surprised what a trim can do!

Most gardeners are plagued by deer eating their gardens.
If you don't want to use chemicals, follow this formula in your veggie garden:
》2 different kinds of succulents
》2 different kinds of herbs
》2 different kinds flowers
If you include this inside your veggie garden, the deer won't wipe you out.

🌱 Stop fighting w**ds in your garden!!!
If this is helpful, comment "APP", share, and save this post!!!!
Here is what I do:
Lay down your w**d barrier fabric over the whole bed first. Then, instead of cutting out big sections (which lets w**ds sneak through), cut a simple cross (X)✂️ right where each plant goes. Tuck your seedling into that little X, and the rest of the barrier stays intact — choking out w**ds while your veggies grow through clean.
That's it. One barrier, dozens of crosses, zero w**ding headaches all season.

I can't believe this tomato plant is growing in my front yard patio in a container!!!
You don't have to wait long to grow tomatoes. If you want to have a homeatead at your apartment like me, you need the following to grow tomatoes in containers:
🍅Sunlight
🍅Water (2 gallons a week)
🍅Soil (sand, worm castings, and compost)farm
🍅Fertilizer is OK (tomatoes are heavy feeders)
🍅Pruning
Do not skip this step🛑
🍅Cut off or prune the flowers for the first 2 weeks so the tomato can establish a good root system before the fruit is formed.
🍅Strongly consider growing patio tomatoes or determinate tomatoes.

What I Learned⛔👇🏾
If this helped you, share, save, and comment APP to get my garden pest guide on the mobile app 🐛💾
I've helped over 1,000 women fight pests and grow food without draining their bodies or bank accounts.
I’m in the trenches going to war with pests so you don’t have to 🥬🎉📦
Cabbage worms CHEW plants.
They do NOT suck sap.
They’re the caterpillar stage of the Cabbage White Butterfly, and they:
🐛 chew holes in leaves
🐛 skeletonize brassicas
🐛 hide under leaves while eating
You’ll see holes + green p**p pellets before you see the worm.
What I did wrong:
😫 Planted too many brassicas together
😫 Ignored white butterflies flying around
😫 Didn’t check under leaves
😫 Let tender growth attract them
They multiply FAST.
What I did right:
😀 Checked leaf undersides daily
😀 Hand-picked with tweezers
😀 Added flowering herbs for beneficial wasps
😀 Used row covers early
How to treat them:
⛔ Remove eggs under leaves
⛔ Use row covers
⛔ Spray Bt for caterpillars
⛔ Neem oil early
⛔ Inspect plants often
I have the full pest defense system inside the mobile app.
Because:
❌ Slaving in the garden? NO.
🥬 Growing food for your family? YES.
❌ Mystery pest damage? NEVER.
🥬 Smart gardening from your phone? ALWAYS.

I keep cabbage worms from destroying my garden without using poisons.
I plant intensively, and I include a variety of herbs, flowers, and textured plants. This confuses pests.
Then, I start with the plants you have and KNOW the pests that love to eat them.
🐛 Cabbage worms love 💚 Cabbage, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, collards, kohlrabi
🐛 Cabbage worms hate ⛔ Strong-smelling herbs like thyme, rosemary, sage, and mint, plus flowering plants that attract beneficial insects that prey on them
🧪 If you gotta use chemicals, Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis) is great
✨✨✨
One of the best ways to prevent cabbage worms is to attract beneficial insects and make it harder for cabbage moths to find your crops.
🌼 Plant dill, alyssum, yarrow, and other flowering plants nearby to bring in natural predators.
🦋 Watch for the small white butterflies fluttering around your brassicas—they're laying the eggs that become cabbage worms!
🧪 If you gotta use chemicals, Bt works best when applied early while the worms are still small.
And if you have an existing garden, adding small changes like this will save your garden!
If you’re ready to turn your grass into an organic garden this summer....

I keep cabbage worms from destroying my garden without using poisons.
Organic gardening with zero pests is important, but too many gardeners overthink it!
I plant intensively, and I include a variety of herbs, flowers, and textured plants. This confuses pests.
Then, I start with the plants you have and KNOW the pests that love to eat them.
And obviously when they do come, I pick them up and drown them with tweezers.

🍅 I saw gardeners on Instagram using an electric toothbrush to pollinate tomato flowers, so I decided to try it!!!
💾 Save this post for later and 📤 share it with a gardener that loves growing tomatoes!
I did it wrong because you're supposed to put the vibrating electric toothbrush on top of the flowers and not the stem.
I am still learning this, y'all!!!
Here is what I know so far!!!!!
🌼 Tomato flowers love winds and vibration to release their pollen.
⚡ The buzzing from a toothbrush mimics the vibration created by bees in nature.
🍅 Better pollination can mean more flowers turning into tomatoes!
🪥 Simply hold the back of the toothbrush near an open flower for a few seconds.
No touching needed, saving your manicure!
