We were blessed to have a successful “Paint and Plant” community outreach event at Muhammad Mosque No. 4.

There was great weather, music, food and vibes. Everything turned out beautifully!🙌🏾

The people really enjoyed themselves and did an amazing job using their artistic abilities and creativity to paint their pots and were excited to plant their seeds. Today was a good day!🙌🏾🤲🏾🙏🏾🪴

Shampoo ginger (Zingiber zerumbet) is a tropical perennial grown by planting rhizomes in well-drained, fertile soil in partial shade, usually during spring after the last frost.

They require consistent moisture and high humidity, spreading to roughly 3 feet, and are ideal for USDA Zones 8-10. In colder climates, grow them in pots to bring indoors for winter.

Every fruit tree thrives from being pruned and growing in a certain manner. Peach trees in particular grow better when the branches are pruned in a y-shape versus growing tall and vertical shaped. It also helps with better air flow.
