Join us for the DC Arabic Teachers’ Council third annual Arabic Language Education Forum (ALEF) at Northern Virginia Community College, May 15, 2026 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This year’s theme, “Reimagining Arabic Education in the United States: Innovation, Sustainability, and Access (K–16),” invites educators, researchers, and policymakers to rethink how Arabic is taught and learned across all levels of education. It highlights the need for innovative pedagogies, sustainable program development, and expanded access to high-quality Arabic instruction from kindergarten through higher education. By addressing current challenges and exploring forward-looking solutions, the conference aims to foster inclusive, resilient, and dynamic Arabic language education in diverse learning contexts.
