Meet Alicia Wodika, Ph.D., CHES, an associate professor at Illinois State University in the Department of Health Sciences where she currently teaches in the Health Promotion and Education program. Alicia enjoys volunteering in the community at Carle Medical Center, the Community Health Care Clinic, a local elementary school, and also serving as a member of the NAACP Health Care Committee to better serve as a resource to her students and community members. Meet Dr. Britnee Weatherspoon, a dynamic public health leader, educator, and national trainer with over a decade of experience advancing school health, mental health literacy, and health equity across K–12, higher education, healthcare, and community settings. She currently serves as the Curriculum Director for Erika’s Lighthouse, where she leads the development of comprehensive, skills-based mental health curricula. Welcome to FLA!
