🐾 Twinkle- she may be famous for her puppy-dog eyes, but Twinkle does much more than brighten hallways. As Westerville’s facility dog, she helps students regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, build confidence, and feel more connected at school.

Did you know a large portion of Night of Hope funding goes directly back into student mental health initiatives right here in Westerville? 💜

Through support from Westerville Education Challenge, Hope Squad began in our high schools in 2021 and has continued expanding into middle and elementary schools.

Because of this community, Hope Squad now reaches students in 15 schools across the district. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps make programs like this possible. ✨

Twinkle, Westerville City Schools’ certified therapy dog, helps students feel calm, connected, supported, and safe during difficult moments. From greeting students in the morning to supporting mindfulness and emotional regulation throughout the school day, Twinkle is making a difference one interaction at a time.
