MGS MONTHLY BUILD SHOWCASE‼️

Each month, we will post builds that are submitted to us by our graduates! Check out Shane's Side Lever Conversion Re*****on Rolling Block 😎

“I completed this project last year and competed with it in BPCR Silhouette Shooting competitions. It is a side lever conversion Re*****on Rolling Block. I started with the receiver, turned it down, threaded and fitted a Green Mountain barrel, then chambered it in 45/70. I manufactured the side lever and a new block pin, then fixed the pin to the block with a set screw. I performed the color case hardening in the traditional bone and hardwood charcoal mix by heating and quenching. The blued parts are cold blued with Brownell's Oxpho Blue. All metal parts were sanded to a minimum 400 grit, some 600 grit. The wood was purchased rough routed, and I completed the fit and finish."

We honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944. Their bravery helped change the course of history and serves as a lasting reminder of the cost of freedom. We remember those who fought, those who fell, and the legacy they left behind. 🇺🇸
