Last week, we celebrated Early Childhood Awareness Week under the theme "Nurture Now, Thrive Later. The Future Begins Toady!"

We are shining a spotlight on the meaningful experiences that help our youngest learners grow.

Through play, exploration, creativity, and consistent routines, children develop the confidence, independence, and curiosity that fuel a lifelong love of learning.

The photos capture our students engaged in hands-on activities that may seem simple, but are powerful opportunities for learning, discovery, and growth. These daily routines and experiences provide children with the security and structure they need to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

Little Readers Spotlight: Kindergarten Series – Part 5 ✨

As we conclude our Kindergarten edition of Little Readers Spotlight, today we celebrate the joy, determination, and beautiful spirit of young Alysha.

Alysha reminds us every day why teaching is so meaningful. Her warm personality, perseverance, and growing confidence continue to brighten our classrooms and inspire those around her.

Today, our school community proudly dressed in red in recognition of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day ❤️

This special day reminded us of the importance of humanity, compassion, and helping those in need.

We extend heartfelt thanks to long-standing BVI Red Cross volunteer and retired Valley Day teacher, Miss Jennifer Darroux for visiting our school today. She engaged us with an informative and meaningful presentation about the work of the Red Cross and the impact of humanitarian service within our community.

We are also incredibly proud of the donations our students brought in, which were proudly handed over today. Through this experience, our students learned that even small acts of kindness and giving back can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

📚✨ Reigniting a Love for Reading!

In celebration of Library Week 2026, our students had a wonderful time visiting the library, where they engaged in a variety of fun and interactive activities that reminded us all that reading is truly enjoyable and meaningful.

Through hands-on experiences, our students were reminded that Reading truly is fun even in today’s technology-driven world.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone at BVI Library Services, especially the dedicated librarians on Virgin Gorda, for creating such a welcoming and enriching experience for our students.

Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month
We are committed to creating a safe environment where every child feels protected, heard, and valued. We teach our students to speak up, and understand that their voices matter.

Autism Awareness Month
We celebrate differences and promote an inclusive school culture where students learn to be patient, accepting, and kind. Every child deserves to feel understood and supported.

At our school, inclusion, safety, and respect are not just lessons, they are values we live by every day.
