UVI National Student Exchange Program

We had an amazing day at 4 Elements Culinary & Wellness Center Water Island! Our morning started off with a delicious breakfast—fresh bread, sprouts, avocado, 🍎 and 🍊. 😋

We did meditation and environmental 🎨, and even cooked our own lunch. Kudos to the chefs (the students!) who made vegetable curry, naan flatbread, salad, power balls, and rice.

We wrapped up the day at Honeymoon Beach. 🏝️

I am so incredibly proud of Kimberlyn for participating in the **UVI Alternative Spring Break – Islands in Focus Project**!

During **Virgin Islands History Month**, she chose to deepen her knowledge of our beautiful islands — **St. Thomas**, **St. John**, Water Island, and Hassel Islands — exploring their rich history, culture, and legacy. 🌺🇻🇮

Learning about the stories, resilience, and contributions of these islands during such a meaningful month makes this experience even more special. Opportunities like this truly enrich lives through the NSE Program and help shape future leaders who understand the importance of heritage and community.

Exposing our NSE students to the rich culture of the **Virgin Islands** is so important! 🌴✨ We had an absolute blast learning **Bamboula**.

Kudos to Majestik, our amazing instructor — you made it so much fun! 💃🏾🥁 The students got to sing, dance, and even dress in traditional Bamboula cultural skirts and head wraps. What a joyful and memorable experience! ❤️

Kudos to the chefs (the students) that made our vegetable curry, nan flat bread, salad, peanut butter poweballs, and rice. We then spend the afternoon at Honey Moon Beach. 🏝️
