In 2009, FPD celebrated two major achievements — the enrolment of our 100,000th student and the 100,000th person living with HIV accessing life‑saving treatment.
These two milestones marked an important shift in the scale and reach of FPD’s work across both education and healthcare, demonstrating a deepening commitment to strengthening systems where they matter most.
Beyond the numbers, the 100 000 Celebration represented thousands of lives touched — individuals empowered through learning, people connected to essential HIV care, and communities strengthened through improved access to services. It also highlighted the powerful role of partnerships in expanding access and driving meaningful, sustainable impact.
