Day 2 at the Unisa Rustenburg region was another productive and engaging day of Robotics and EUP. Thank you to all students who participated and contributed to making the day a success. We look forward to continuing to empower and support our students through practical learning opportunities.

Day 1 at the Rustenburg UNISA Campus. The morning kicked off with a Robotics workshop, giving participants hands-on exposure to technology and innovation. This was followed by an EUP workshop that focused on assisting students with their assignments, unpacking relevant module content, clarifying key concepts, and providing academic support to enhance their understanding and success in the module.

USEC is honoured to be invited by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) to participate as an exhibitor at the Minister’s handover of the Media Lab at Peter Mokaba Primary School in KwaMhlanga as we showcase STEM innovation to learners, educators, and the community.

From 8–9 May, USEC together with the EUP hosted activities for UNISA Cape Town students. On 8 May, students participated in Coding and Robotics training facilitated by USEC, while on 9 May, the EUP team assisted students with various EUP-related queries and support services

USEC successfully hosted a two-day coding and robotics workshop for educators in the Overberg district, Hermanus, Western Cape, from 31 March to 1 April 2026.
Empowering teachers with innovative skills in coding and robotics, the workshop aimed to strengthen STEM education and inspire future-ready classrooms.
