“منظومة كلمن الرقمية حلٌّ متكامل للنهوض باللغة العربية” موضوع الدورة الإنمائية لمناهج كَلِمُن بسلطنة عُمان.
“The Kalemon digital system is an integrated solution for the advancement of the Arabic language” is the topic of the development course for the Kalemon curriculum in the Sultanate of Oman.
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, Almotahida Education Group, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Private Schools, represented by the Private Schools Programs and Curriculum Department, organized two workshops entitled “The Development Course for the Kalemon Curriculum for the Arabic Language for Speakers of Other Languages,” on Sunday and Monday, September 17-18, 2023 AD; This is to introduce the Kalemon system for teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
The first workshop, on Sunday, September 17, 2023, targeted supervisors of the Arabic language subject in the educational directorates in the governorates and the Ministry’s General Office.
The integrated system for teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers in the Sultanate of Oman was presented as an integrated solution for the advancement of the Arabic language, starting with building the content, its philosophy, and the components of the curriculum.
The workshop also focused on the Kalemon electronic platform, which includes a learning management system, a digital library, and a calendar and question bank, as well as learning about the concept, tasks, and role of the educational supervisor on the electronic platform and his role in improving teacher performance.
The next day, the second workshop, on Monday, September 18, 2023, targeted Arabic language teachers in private schools in various governorates.
The workshop focused on how the teacher deals with the Kalemon electronic platform, starting with logging in, reviewing the teacher’s interface, and explaining its features that serve the teacher, including interactive digital books, interactive lessons, and the testing system and its types that allow the teacher to apply the evaluation method in an integrated manner through the question bank and its standardization.
It is worth noting that the Kalemon series is being implemented to teach Arabic to non-native speakers (K-12) in the schools of the Sultanate of Oman, which includes the regular school years from kindergarten to grade 12.
