🌎 🧑‍🏫 Como cada año, CLAYSS organiza el Seminario Internacional de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario (AYSS), evento gratuito y abierto a la comunidad, punto de encuentro para quienes trabajan por una educación transformadora y de impacto en las comunidades de todo el mundo.

🤝 Esta experiencia reúne, cada agosto en Buenos Aires, a educadores, estudiantes, colegas, investigadores, funcionarios, y referentes locales e internacionales comprometidos con el aprendizaje-servicio solidario.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑En el marco de la XXIII Semana Internacional del AYSS, además del Seminario, habrá otras actividades como el Encuentro de Uniservitate, red global de AYSS en la Educación Superior Católica, y la Reunión de (Red Iberoamericana de Aprendizaje-Servicio), ambos eventos con invitación.

📣 Save the Date! 29th International Solidarity Service-Learning Conference in Buenos Aires

🌎 🧑‍🏫 Each year, CLAYSS organizes the International Solidarity Service-Learning Conference, a free event open to the public that serves as a meeting place for those working towards transformative education with real-world community impact worldwide.

🤝 Every August in Buenos Aires, this event brings together educators, students, colleagues, researchers, officials, and local and international experts committed to solidarity service-learning.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑In addition to the conference, the 23rd International Service-Learning Week will feature other exclusive activities, including an invitation-only meeting for representatives of the Uniservitate Programme and another for REDIBAS, the Service-Learning Network.

📌 El ciclo sobre espiritualidad y aprendizaje-servicio organizado por el nodo Europa Occidental Sur de Uniservitate, comenzó el 13 de mayo con una disertación del profesor Alejandro González Cerna, catedrático y ex decano de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Belén, en Palestina, quien ofreció una reflexión sobre el lugar de la espiritualidad en la formación universitaria. González, que es religioso lasallano y oriundo de México, propuso pensar la espiritualidad como aquello que conecta al ser humano con lo más profundo de sí mismo, con los demás y con el mundo.

➡ Este ciclo de tres encuentros virtuales continuará el 9 de junio con la profesora Marian Aláez Martínez, de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Deusto, quien abordará la relación entre espiritualidad y docencia. El ciclo concluirá el 23 de septiembre con Arantza Echaniz-Barrondo, profesora de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas de la misma universidad, quien profundizará sobre los vínculos entre espiritualidad y religiosidad.

📌 The webinar series on spirituality and service-learning, hosted by the Uniservitate Regional Hub for Western Europe South, opened on 13th May with a talk delivered by Alejandro González Cerna, Professor and former Dean of the Faculty of Education in the Bethlehem University in Palestine, who discussed the place of Spirituality in University degrees. González, a religious Lasallian brother from Mexico, proposed viewing spirituality as something that connects individuals with their deepest selves, others and the world.

➡ This series of three virtual meetings will continue on 9th June with Professor Marian Aláez Martínez from the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto, who will discuss the relationship between spirituality and teaching. The series will conclude on 23th September with Arantza Echaniz-Barrondo, a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, who will explore the links between spirituality and religiosity.

📌 El nodo de Europa Occidental Sur de Uniservitate organiza un ciclo de tres encuentros virtuales sobre espiritualidad y aprendizaje-servicio en los que participan voces autorizadas con vasta experiencia en esa temática.

👉🏼 El primero, realizado el pasado 13 de mayo, estuvo a cargo del hermano Alejandro González Cerna, catedrático y ex decano de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Belén, en Palestina, y profundizó sobre la espiritualidad y el aprendizaje-servicio solidario.

➡️ El próximo estará a cargo de docentes de la Universidad de Deusto. Marian Aláez Martínez, profesora titular de la Facultad de Derecho, abordará el 9 de junio, la espiritualidad y la docencia y Arantza Echaniz-Barrondo, profesora titular de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas se abocará, el 23 de septiembre, al vínculo entre la espiritualidad y la religiosidad.

🕣 Los webinarios serán a las 15 (hora de España) y se impartirán en castellano con traducción simultánea al inglés.

📌 Spirituality and Solidarity Service-Learning. The South-West Europe Hub of Uniservitate is organizing a series of three webinars on spirituality and Service-Learning, featuring expert speakers with extensive experience in this field.

👉🏼 The first session took place on 13th May and was delivered by Bro. Alejandro González Cerna, Professor and former Dean of the Faculty of Education in the Bethlehem University in Palestine, who discussed Spirituality and Solidarity Service-Learning in depth.

➡️ The next session will be led by professors from the University of Deusto. Marian Aláez Martínez, full Professor in the Faculty of Law of the University of Deusto, will discuss Spirituality and Teaching on 9th June, while Arantza Echaniz-Barrondo, full Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, will discuss the connection between Spirituality and Religiousness on 23th September.

🕣 The webinars will be conducted in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation into English at 3:00 pm (Spanish Time, GMT +1).

🕥 7 AM Ecuador / 9 AM Argentina / 2 PM Spain / 8 PM Philippines.

🙏 The prayer will be led by the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador.

📌 We will have Spanish and English interpreters on hand to ensure that the entire community can participate.

⌛ It will last 20 minutes.

📌 A space to share and build community among students, educators, and all those involved in the Uniservitate program. In a context that calls for building bridges and working for peace, let us join the students who will be leading the prayer.

📌 The ServU Project invites you to the International Scientific Conference “Service-Learning for the Recovery of Ukraine: Education, Citizenship, and Community Resilience,” which will take place on June 9 in a hybrid format at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.

➡️ The event will bring together faculty, researchers, students, community representatives, and international partners to discuss the role of higher education in Ukraine’s recovery and in strengthening community resilience.

👉🏼 The conference will also serve as the closing event for the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Service-learning in Higher Education for Ukraine’s Recovery” (ServU), which began in late 2023 and brought together three Ukrainian and three European universities to support and rebuild Ukrainian local territorial communities through the implementation of service-learning methodology.

📣 VII UNISERVITATE GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM: 26th AND 27th OCTOBER.

📌 The Uniservitate Coordination Team invites all universities engaged in solidarity service-learning to save for its most significant annual event. The VII Uniservitate Global Symposium, organized in collaboration with LUMSA University, will take place in a hybrid format on 26th and 27th October in Castel Gandolfo (Italy).

➡️ The Symposium serves as a global gathering of scholars, university officials and students to share presentations and experiences regarding solidarity service-learning in higher education.

📌 La coordinación de Uniservitate invita a la comunidad universitaria vinculada con el aprendizaje-servicio solidario a reservar la fecha para su evento anual más importante. El 26 y 27 de octubre próximo se hará en formato híbrido en Castel Gandolfo (Italia), el VII Simposio Global Uniservitate organizado con la Universidad LUMSA.

➡️ El Simposio reunirá a académicos, autoridades universitarias, docentes, referentes de redes internacionales y referentes eclesiales y estudiantes de todo el mundo para compartir disertaciones y experiencias en torno al aprendizaje-servicio solidario en la educación superior.

El nodo Uniservitate de América Latina y el Caribe invita a ser parte de los webinar sobre Investigaciones en Aprendizaje Servicio LATAM 2025/2026.

➡️ En este espacio podrán conocer sobre investigaciones en Aprendizaje Servicio, donde las universidades expondrán sus principales hallazgos referidos a tópicos como:

• Dimensión espiritual del aprendizaje-servicio.
• Contribución del aprendizaje-servicio a la identidad y misión de las Instituciones Católicas de Educación Superior.
• Procesos de institucionalización del aprendizaje-servicio en las Instituciones Católicas de Educación Superior.
• Evidencias de la contribución del aprendizaje-servicio a la formación integral de los estudiantes universitarios
