Last week, Toddler 2 celebrated Reconciliation Week by exploring playdough alongside Aboriginal symbols stamps. The children really enjoyed looking at the different symbols and were curious to ask what each one meant, which led to conversations about Aboriginal culture and storytelling.
Some children made cookies with different symbols pressed into them, while others rolled little balls, made long snakes, caterpillars and millipedes. Through this experience, the children are building their understanding of culture, respect and connection to the land we live on.
