This week our Toddler children were offered a hands on role play experience. We invited children to dress up as firefighters and used our ‘fire extinguishers’ or spray bottles to put the fires out.
The children worked together to respond to our emergency.

This week our nursery room were offered a sensory experience created around a favourite book of the room. Brown brown bear, what do you see?
Laminated cards were hidden among pom-poms and crinkly paper.
Children used their hands and tongs to find the images from the book. Educators saw children smiling and pointing to the different animals.

This week our centre celebrated Vegemite day!
Each room offered either a sensory experience or cooking experience which involved our love ingredient Vegemite.
Here we have our flying start Kindy children making their own Vegemite sandwiches which is not only delicious but support our hand eye coordination and fine motor skills

This week, our Kindy children were offered a hands-on sorting experience.
Children were invited to an open-ended experience. Educators encouraged children to create their own patterns using a wide range of materials.

Our centre continues to offer weekly culinary classes to each room. Kitchen Hand Shirley supported our children in making their own bliss balls. The children were invited to roll their own balls and place some blueberries on top.

This morning our tiny tots got creative with nature. Our children went for a hunt in multiple yards to gather leaves, sticks, and rosemary.
With the collected items and sculpting clay our children moulded their own decoration.

This week our nursery children were offered a cause and effect experience encouraging children to roll balls down different ramps.
Children watched how some balls went really quickly down and ramps and other were much slower.
We had some child enjoying collecting duty, running or crawling after the balls.

In June, our Inside Out Program is focusing on natural ingredients and how they benefit our health!
Our Tiny Tots children explored a variety of berries, vegetables, and seeds through hands-on sensory experiences. They also had the opportunity to taste Boost Smoothie made from these healthy ingredients, encouraging them to discover new flavours while learning about nutritious foods that support their wellbeing.
What a wonderful way to nurture healthy eating habits from an early age! 🍓🥕🥬

Today our Kindy children were invited to a fine motor cutting experience. Our children were encouraged to cut out pictures from a range of magazines and print outs to collect and then glue creating their own art work.

Today our Kindy 2 children were offered a clay experience for reconciliation week.
Our educators displayed art examples for children to use as a guide and provided all the utensils for children to make their own creations.
