Our very first Italian Day was everything we hoped for and more, a vibrant celebration of language, culture, and community.
From our colourful Carnevale parade to dancing the Tarantella, playing bocce, drawing upside down like Michelangelo, and creating pasta artworks, our students threw themselves into every moment with joy and creativity.
A huge thank you to our incredible Year 6 leaders for running the activities so beautifully, and a very special grazie mille to Signora Alana for bringing this whole wonderful day to life. 🌟
We can't wait for next year!

Same story. Same time. Different places. 🦘
We all snuggled up and read Luna Roo at the same time, students everywhere, sharing the same story, in the same moment. How magical is that?!
A huge thank you to Miss Mardi for organising the soccer activities. What a wonderful day all round! ⚽

Miss Mardi has done it again!
Our library has been transformed into the most magical space in readiness for Simultaneous Storytime 2026 — and we are absolutely here for it.
This Wednesday, millions of children, parents, teachers and library lovers across Australia and beyond will come together to read Luna Roo at the very same time — a story about a spirited little kangaroo and her friends chasing their football dreams across the outback. Action, teamwork, friendship and fun — all wrapped up in one beautiful book.
We are so proud of Miss Mardi for going above and beyond to make our library feel truly special. Come in, soak it up, and get ready to read together. 🦘

Happy Catholic Education Week! 💛
This week we celebrate the incredible gift of Catholic schooling — an education that nurtures not just the mind, but the whole person.
At Heart Learning, we've been living that out through the Shine with Open Hearts campaign. Over the past few weeks our students and staff have shared openly, listened deeply, and reminded each other of just how brightly we shine when we show up with open hearts.
Catholic education is about so much more than a classroom. It's about community, faith, and belonging. And we are so proud of ours.

In the final week of Term 1, Chioma (Year 1) and Viraj (Year 4) had the exciting opportunity to take part in the Catholic Schools Open Week campaign photoshoot! 📸
They were absolute naturals in front of the camera and represented St Brigid’s with so much confidence and pride. This year, they’ll be featured as part of the statewide campaign – how amazing is that!

Term 1 marked an exciting start in our new STEM space, with all classes taking part in hands-on, engaging weekly lessons.
Here’s what Avraj (Year 6) had to say:
“One of my favourite activities was the egg drop! We had to design armour to protect our egg using limited materials—and ours survived! It took great teamwork with Ali and Frankie.”
It’s been wonderful to see our STEM room filled with curiosity and creativity. We can’t wait to see what Term 2 brings!

After School Soccer ⚽
Last term, our Years 3–6 students built their skills in after school soccer sessions with Football SA, focusing on passing, dribbling, and shooting.
It was great to see so many students getting involved!
Thank you to Football SA for a fantastic program 👏

We’re so excited to share some of our favourite photos from our recent professional photoshoot! 📸
These photos capture the heart of St Brigid’s - our incredible students, supportive community, and the little everyday moments that make our school so special. 💛
As we wrap up a wonderful term, we hope all our families enjoy a safe, restful and well-deserved school holiday.
