🧦Today, Junior School staff and students were delighted to arrive at school looking like they had just gotten out of bed! The Pyjama Day fundraiser, organised by the SRC, was an enjoyable way to have fun whilst raising money and awareness for a worthy cause.

Each gold coin donated today will go to the Womens and Children’s Hospital Foundation to help enhance the hospital experience for children and families, improve equitable access to care, and enable excellence in health care for patients. ❤️

The 2026 Quiz Night, hosted by the Parents and Friends Committee, was a lively and thoroughly enjoyable evening. Guests embraced the spirit of friendly competition, putting their knowledge to the test on Saturday night at the Junior School. A special thank you to the talented quizmaster, Jeff Lang, whose energy and expertise made the night especially engaging. We also thank the dedicated organisers who generously gave their time on a cold June evening to deliver such a wonderful event.

✨ Celebrating a Decade of Impact ✨

Last Thursday was a memorable for evening for The Cardoner Network as they celebrated their inaugural Adelaide Friendraiser, held at Senior School.

Bringing together a vibrant community of students, alumni, families, parish members, and supporters, the night was a powerful celebration of more than ten years of providing young people with opportunities to live out a faith that does justice.

From local initiatives to global placements across the Northern Territory, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Nepal, it was inspiring to reflect on the transformative impact made by over 1,000 young volunteers, and the many more still to come.

Good luck, Paul! ⚾🧢
Year 12 Regis Faith and Service Leader, Paul, is heading to the USA this month to pursue his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. While abroad, he will attend elite baseball camps and explore potential schools where he hopes to earn a scholarship. As part of his AIF project, Paul also created an impressive guide, designed to support Australian baseballers navigating US college recruitment. We wish him every success on this exciting journey!

🎉 Congratulations to Year 11 students Chloe, Mia, Briana and Jenny on achieving bronze at the Senior School Ethics Olympiad. 🧠

This highly competitive event demands ethical judgement, clear articulation, strong reasoning, problem solving and creativity — skills these talented students demonstrated with great distinction.

We wish them all the best as they prepare to represent us in the International Final this July.

Ignatian Bursary Success Story 🎓💫
We are proud to be sharing the inspiring story of Old Ignatian Besmellah Rezaee (Class of 2006), a former bursary recipient. As a lawyer, Besmellah works tirelessly to support refugees and migrants, advocate for human rights, and shape national policy. A bursary did more than provide Besmellah with an education. It gave him the opportunity to find his voice and pursue a life of purpose.

Yesterday was a busy day at the Senior School as we acknowledged our Season of Solidarity in a big way.

The day began with a casual clothes day fundraiser – an opportunity for students to wear their cosiest attire on a cold, rainy day. At lunchtime, a crowd gathered for a vibrant talent show, showcasing an impressive range of performances by both staff and students. The momentum continued into the evening, with a large group of Year 12 students preparing to brave the cold winter night outdoors as part of the annual Solidarity Sleepout - a powerful experience of awareness and empathy.

All proceeds from our Season of Solidarity initiatives support our four Mission Partners: Adelaide Day Centre, St Vincent de Paul, Catherine House, and Centacare.
