When a young person is given the right support at the right time, everything can change.
Confidence grows. Engagement improves. Futures open up.
But too many young people are still missing that moment of support when they need it most.
At Youth Opportunities, we see what’s possible when they are given the tools to build resilience, self-belief and connection. We see young people re-engage with school, step into training and employment, and start to see a future they want to be part of.
This is what your support makes possible.
As EOFY approaches, your donation can help more young people access the programs that change their trajectory.
Please donate before June 30.

Today marks the final day of National Reconciliation Week, a time for all Australians to reflect on our shared history and consider how we can contribute to a more just, equitable and reconciled future.
To mark the week, Youth Opportunities Trainers Emma and Tom were honoured to join staff from the Marshman Foundation Key Assets Group on a visit to Yitpi Yartapuultika, the new Aboriginal Cultural Centre in City of Port Adelaide Enfield , for a valuable opportunity to learn, listen and deepen our understanding of Aboriginal cultures, histories and perspectives.
The final day of National Reconciliation Week coincides with the anniversary of the landmark Mabo decision in 1992, which recognised the land rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and overturned the legal concept of terra nullius. Yitpi Yartapuultika stands as a powerful example of Aboriginal cultural connection, truth-telling and the recognition of First Nations peoples' enduring relationship with Country.
The site also reflects the legacy of Aunty Veronica Brodie, a respected Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri leader whose decades-long advocacy helped lay the foundations for Yitpi Yartapuultika and its vision for cultural education, healing and connection.
We're grateful for opportunities like this that deepen our understanding, spark important conversations and strengthen our ongoing commitment to learning, respect and reconciliation.

Right now, thousands of young people are struggling with confidence, connection and a sense of where they belong.
Schools are asking for more support because more young people need it.
For nearly 30 years, Youth Opportunities has helped young Australians build confidence, resilience and leadership skills that last well beyond the classroom.
The impact is real:
✔ More young people complete Year 12
✔ More continue into study, training and employment
✔ More report improvements in wellbeing, confidence and resilience
Behind every statistic is a young person who needed someone to believe in them before they could believe in themselves.
Your EOFY donation can help ensure more young people get that chance.
Please donate before June 30.

Despite the weather, the 2026 Youth Opportunities Golf Day—proudly presented by Tanti Group of Companies—was filled with incredible energy, generosity and community spirit.
Together, you helped raise a record-breaking $130,000 to support young people across South Australia to build confidence, resilience and belief in their future.

SA Giving Week starts today!
SA Giving Week is a new statewide initiative bringing South Australians together to celebrate, grow and inspire a culture of giving.
At Youth Opportunities, we’re proud to support a culture of giving and support young people facing barriers to thrive. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we're helping the next generation of Australians build confidence, resilience and a sense of direction.
Across the week, free events, stories and practical pathways will showcase the many ways individuals, businesses and communities give — from volunteering and community support through to structured philanthropy.
A key highlight is the Philanthropy Showcase on Friday, 8 May, featuring rapid-fire insights followed by the opportunity to dive deeper into areas such as structured giving, community foundations, collective giving, corporate giving and volunteering.
We encourage our supporters to get involved in any way they can, whether that's attending an event, exploring new ways to give, or sharing how you or your organisation is making a difference.

Celebrating SA Youth Week 2026! 🎉
Last week, we marked SA Youth Week with a Participation Day alongside YO graduates, creating space to explore what matters most to young people and the challenges they’re facing today.
Inspired by these conversations, our young people came together to paint a mural capturing their perspectives and lived experiences. It now lives on our office walls as a lasting reminder of the power and importance of youth voice!
Huge thanks to for their partnership and use of facilities.
